When you are attending a church and you have children involved in the children's ministries, how important is it for you to see a consistent person or people ministering to your child? (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being not that important and 10 being of the highest importance)
Similar question but putting yourself into your child or children's shoes, how important is it for them to see a consistent person or people ministering to them in children's ministries? (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being not that important and 10 being of the highest importance)
Please feel to comment and share your response to these questions. If your answers vary on the two scales I would love to hear your thoughts as to why.

I was just talking about this with some other Abundant Life friends. Our little girls are in the two year old class at 8:30 and they love it! But recently we brought our daughters to a different service and they both had a hard time. I think it was because the teachers were different, even though the teachers that were there were very friendly and welcoming. So for kids, I think it's very important - maybe a 9 or 10. As a parent, I don't cry like my daughter when there's a different teacher :), but it is great to see a familiar face and know your child will be comfortable. So for me, maybe an 8?
Good question! :)

For both myself and my children familiar teachers rate at a 9-10. They desire to have relationships with their teachers and if they experience random teachers it can cause them to act out or become fearful. As a parent I also feel it is very important to see the same faces in my children's classroom. I want to know that the person has a relationship with my child and that if if my child is having a bad day that they will extend grace for abnormal behavior.

I would rate both of those questions at a 10. both as a teacher and a mom i see the importance of being a regular teacher, the kids know me and are eager to play and talk with me. I look for the same with my girls (3,5) to make a connection with them and to get to know them, cause they can be characters!
thank you for your dedication and interest! by the way you should visit the 2's class again... :)
